Such A Great Team!
I want to thank Villa St. Joseph Administrator Dan Storey, Social Services Coordinator Andrea Fries, and Nora Langos, RN, for your roles in allowing my dad, Richard Dudas, to be a patient and then continue at the Villa after he became enrolled in hospice. I can honestly say with all happening to his body and mind, he was comfortable at the Villa and we appreciate him being surrounded by such caring people. I truly believe the reason he felt comfortable was because of the way your staff treated him. His medical needs were met in a very professional manner. More important than his physical needs, at this time of his life, were his emotional needs. This is where your caring staff really influenced his final days. Many nurses and aides tried to help him relax and be comfortable. We got to know the staff quite well as we stayed with him around the clock. We thank you and your staff for making a difficult part of our life a little easier to get through. You should be proud you have such a great team! -- Dennise and John Strobl, Rick and Anna Dudas and Families
Help With Care Appreciated
Thank you for all of your help with my Uncle Clarence Jezek while he was in your care and for the beautiful plaque you sent his daughter in his memory. God bless! -- The Family of Clarence Jezek
Loving Kindness and Support
Thanks to all for the loving kindness and support you provided to Aunt Carolyn (Leszka) and our family during her stay at The Village at Marymount. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. -- The Pugely Family
Nursing Staff's Expertise
On April 25, 2012, one of your residents went into full cardiac arrest and a call was placed to 9-1-1. Upon arriving, Lt. Pat Nelson, and firefighters Shawn Foust and Tom Nemeth of the Garfield Heights Fire Department found members of your nursing staff performing CPR. Lt. Nelson informed me of the tremendous job your staff did administering the CPR until my crew arrived. He feels their expertise and professionalism gave your resident the best possible chance of survival. Although I do not have the individual names of the nurses that were in the room, I am hoping that you will thank them from Lt. Nelson, firefighters Foust and Nemeth, and me for a job well done. -- Thomas J. Nemetz, Garfield Heights Fire Chief
Going Above and Beyond
You (Continuing Care Unit staff) went above and beyond by doing what you say you are going to do for your patients plus the rest of the staff too! It's always nice to see a business that does what it says. You are better than most hospitals and staff there. This ... makes the patients feel comfortable and in good hands. -- Elizabeth Greene
Therapists A Blessing To Bishop Roger
I was a resident of The Village at Marymount on two separate occasions and in both instances my therapists were a true blessing for me. By making the therapy sessions enjoyable, it was much easier to work hard enough to return home more quickly and at a higher level of functioning than I was originally expected to achieve in such a short time. I honestly can’t say enough about the tremendous care I received from my therapists, actually from the entire staff at The Villa. The Sisters have truly given a great gift to so many in the community by opening this facility and setting such high expectations for the overall atmosphere and quality of care. May God continue to bless them and all their ministries on the Marymount campus.
